Introducing our latest product in the R.T. Clark Energy Source lineup; the Vibration Propelled Energy Generator (VPEG). The VPEG-16 and VPEG-8 is a 12VDC, battery operated, electromagnetic seismic vibrator. The VPEG energy sources were designed for a multitude of applications within the fields of geology, geophysics, civil engineering, and more. The VPEG system uses electrical transducers to generate sweeps with frequencies from 8hz all the way up to 800hz.
The VPEG energy sources were developed in partnership with TELEMARK ENERGY SERVICES (TES). TES and R.T. Clark share a common goal to bring a portable, battery-powered, electromagnetic vibrator to market with the purpose of giving the geophysical community access to a vibratory seismic source without the need for large expensive truck-mounted vibrators. In addition, we partnered with industry leading SEISMIC SOURCE to design our source signal controller and software, which is fully integrated with their existing Vibrator control systems. Between these 3 companies, there are over 150 years of industry knowledge built into the VPEG.
With the near-surface community in mind, the VPEG sources were built for portability. Whether you need to permanently install for a QC application, use a hitch on an existing truck or ATV, or use forks on a tractor or skid steer, we have a deployment solution for you.
